IX.1.22 Pompeii. December 2007. Room 7, decorated floor in tablinum.  According to Bragantini, the floor was made of cocciopesto with shapes delineated by white tesserae.
The diamond shapes formed a net design, and in the centre of each diamond was a small tesserae cross shape.

According to Garcia y Garcia, in September 1943 the same bomb that caused damage to IX.1.20, also damaged this house.

The west wall of the atrium was damaged, and the IV style painted plaster was partially decayed.

In the cubiculum next to the fauces, the pilaster that served as a jamb was broken.

The middle zone was painted with blue panels edged with borders with triangles, separated by narrow divisions. Some fragments were put back in situ, after the 1943 bombing.
