Jashemski refers to it as a garden diaeta or garden room. Aoyagi and Pappalardo refer to it as an oecus, and this is the description we use. See Aoyagi M. and Pappalardo U., 2006. VI.17.42 Pompeii. 1974, cast of a mother and child, part of a family group of four who died under the staircase. The group consisted of a man and a woman, who was holding a child, and a few metres away was an older child. A golden bracelet of exceptional weight and unusual design was found on the arm of the woman. This gave the name to the house.
