VI.2.4 Pompeii. June 2010. Rebuilt walled stairwell for the wooden stair. According to Anne Laidlaw, this used to have sockets that were the only evidence left for the wooden stair leading up from the exterior of the last cubiculum on the left of the atrium into the upper floor of that room.
