The name of Menander was inscribed by the painter on the skirt of the man’s cloak. (CIL IV 7350a)

According to Varone, this refers to the fact that Menander wrote his first comedy at the age of 14. Four books. Della Corte read XIX instead of XIV, see CIL IV 7350b.
