circular aedicula reconstructed on top of the high podium.

HGW04a Pompeii. 1836
plan by De Jorio.
According to De Jorio
the top of the monument was entirely ruined.
On it were found
pieces of columns which held up a circular cornice.
There were 6 statues,
three of men, each in a toga and three of women, each wearing a pallium (Greek
cloak).
In the centre rose a
square structure that would hold the main urn.
There were 11 niches
in the tomb. Eleven cippi were found outside at c, d and f.
