According to Della Corte, this shop was excavated 22nd October 1849 in the presence of Pope Pio IX.

Della Corte believed that this shop was rented from the Lucrezi by a person known as Phosphorus.

He thought this because of a seal/signet (S.71) found here “in the 16th or 17th shop on the left of the strada from the quadrivio di Orfeo..”
