According to Eschebach, the doorway on the left would have led into a small room under the steps at VII.16.5. At the rear on the left would have been a stairs to the upper mezzanine, with a latrine beneath. In the workshop were two dolia, three mortars, and two or three mills. See Eschebach, L., 1993. According to Eschebach, the doorway on the left would have led into a small room under the steps at VII.16.5.
