On the south wall (to
the right) is a painting of a plant with a bird and a Delphic tripod.
To its right is a
painted herm with the head of a Gorgon.
In the upper zone is
another plant painting.

According to Boyce,
the inside walls of the niche were painted green and blue and the ceiling was a
shell of stucco.
The wall around the
niche was painted with a garden decoration of plants, flowers and birds.
