On the south pilaster, on the right side of the entrance, a graffito was found:

Hic  ego  bis  futui   

Formaece    [CIL IV 4029]

He also says the meaning of the second line is unclear.

Also found on the pilaster between V.1.17 and V.1.18 was another graffito:

Helvium  Sabinum

aed(ilem)  Parthope  rog(at)  cum  Rufino      [CIL IV 3403]

According to Della Corte, the last few words were -

Parth(en)ope  cum  Rufino  rogat      [CIL IV 3403]

The stairs were destroyed, with the north wall, by the bombing in 1943.

According to CTP’s survey, “the stairs on the north wall are now quite obliterated, by the aerial bombing”.
