The inventory card says it was found in the first room west side, vicolo crossing Via Abbondanza. “Primo vano lato O. vicolo trasversale V. Abbondanza”. According to Parslow, “In a small room near this entrance [II.4.8] the excavators came across two large bronze lanterns which originally may have been suspended by their chains from the ceiling joists, since they were found near the level of the roof”. The inventory card
says it was found in the first room west side, vicolo crossing Via Abbondanza. “Primo vano lato
