According to Della Corte, written on the exterior wall on the left of the entrance was an electoral recommendation –

Habonius Primus on the opposite rectangular space, was found in the atrium. According to Stefani, the correct name for the house should be “Casa di L. Habonius Primus”. See Stefani G. in Guzzo, P. I.11.5 Pompeii. Square glass bottle with round neck, flared rim and with handle. It was used for oil. Inside was found a yellow coloured solid. Tests showed this was oil. Now in Boscoreale Antiquarium. SAP Inventory number 12821. See Cibi e Sapori a Pompei e Dintorni, exhibition catalogue from Boscoreale Antiquarium, 2005, (p. 89, No. 105).
