According to Cooley, a graffito inscription written in carbon, was found on the wall of the shop-room leading to the tannery reading: Tannery of Xulmus [CIL IV 4014] See Cooley, A. and M.G.L., 2004. Pompeii : A Sourcebook. London : Routledge. (p. 178) According to Della Corte, written in the entrance was the graffito - Xulmi Cor(i)ariano [CIL IV 4014] Found in big letters to the left of the entrance – M(arcus) Vesoni (Primi) vos….
