This had a two-sided
portico supported by four columns.
According to
Jashemski, excavated around 1828 this was visible through the tablinum from the
entrance.
It was enclosed on the
north and west by a portico, supported by four columns.

She thought that the
oil press found in the atrium was probably to be installed in the cellar area.
